Hike West Highland Way

DAY 2: F/M/A; Overnight in Crianlarich/surroundings

●●● To start our hiking week, we begin with a relaxed tour on the West Highland Way, where only short ascents and descents await us. The long-distance hiking trail, which is 154 km long in total, begins in the Lowlands and leads across the Highlands to the vicinity of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain, which we will tackle on day five of our trip. The charming hiking trail captivates with a wide view of the overwhelming landscape. It's up to you to decide whether you want to end the first day's hike after about three hours (12 kilometers), or extend it to a total of six hours (21 kilometers).

Hike 17th century military road or climb Black Mount

DAY 3: F/M/A; Overnight in Crianlarich/surroundings

●●● Today you are again spoiled for choice: Either you hike four to five hours over a flat to slightly hilly Military road from the 17th century, or you accompany your mountain guide and climb the so called Black Mount. From the summit, a breathtaking panorama opens up, which is guaranteed to make up for the exhaustion of the approximately eight-hour hike (about 16 kilometers, 950 meters in altitude).

West Highland Railway Line and Rannoch Moor walk

DAY 4: F/M/A; overnight in Fort William/surroundings

●●● Today will be eventful! We start our hiking day with a wild romantic ride with the West Highland Railway Line From Bridge of Orchy into the wilderness to Rannoch Station. Through the Rannoch Moor we hike to the famous Pass of Glencoe and discover one of the last European areas of completely untouched nature. The diverse flora and fauna seem almost paradisiacal. Our further hike leads us along picturesque lochs with white sandy beaches - far and wide no road in sight. If there should still be mythical creatures or unicorns somewhere, then that is probably here! After the six to seven hour hike (22 kilometers, can also be done in the opposite direction) we can rest on the bus as we continue our journey towards Fort William. If you are not too tired after dinner, you should definitely visit one of the traditional pubs in the area visit!

Between Glen and Ben - Ascent Ben Nevis or Hike Glen Nevis Valley

DAY 5: F/M/A; Overnight in Fort William/surroundings

●●● Today we're going high! Together we climb the Ben Nevis, which at 1,343 m is not only the highest mountain Scotland, but in fact all of Great Britain is! Already during the ascent we have an impressive panoramic view. Once we reach the summit, however, it becomes really spectacular! If the weather cooperates, we can see from here over the entire Scottish Highlands to many of the Hebridean Islands. The hike takes about seven hours (17 kilometers). Would you prefer to take it a little easier today? In the Glen Nevis valley, which is formed by the Nevis River you can arrange the duration of your hike according to your wishes (between about two and four hours). A beautiful natural landscape and impressive waterfalls are waiting to be admired by you. By the way, the valley has been the scene of many movies. For example, scenes were shot here for the Harry Potter movies, the Highlander series and by Rob Roy filmed.

Final hike West Highland Way

DAY 6: F/M/A; overnight in Fort William/surroundings

●●● Are you ready for our last day of hiking? Our route today takes us about six hours through enchanting highland valleys along the last section of the West Highland Way. Afterwards we continue to the capital of the Highlands - to Inverness, where we will have a short sightseeing tour. If you like, you can also visit a traditional wool weaving mill.
